The Grid

In response to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) guidelines put in place by UMB leadership, the Grid is moving its events and programs online to continue to provide educational resources to the UMB entrepreneurial community. In addition, to promote social distance, the Grid will be temporarily closed to UMB students, faculty, and staff.

  • Grid Pitch is still on and is moving online.The Grid Pitch will be virtual, and anyone will be able to view the student presentations. We’ll be announcing the Grid Pitch 2020 participants very soon. 
  • The Negotiation and Sales lunch and learn scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, at noon also will move online. Stay tuned for more details on how to access this session and others in the coming weeks.
  • The Francis King Carey School of Law’s Intellectual Property Entrepreneurship Clinic will not see clients for the remainder of the semester in the Grid. If you have questions regarding IPEC, please email miplr@law.umaryland.edu.
  • Small Business Development Center counselor William Freeman will be working virtually. You can contact him directly at wfreeman@umd.edu.
