UMB Pre- and Postdoctoral Training Grants: Apply by Feb. 12
January 20, 2021The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) Institute for Clinical & Translational Research (ICTR)/Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) TL1 Program is a collaborative effort among the seven UMB schools (School of Medicine, School of Nursing, School of Pharmacy, School of Dentistry, School of Social Work, School of Law, and the Graduate School). Funding for this Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service (NRSA) training appointment is provided by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) CTSA, joint partnership between UMB and Johns Hopkins University.
The mission of the TL1 Program is to select candidates who, with proper career development and clinical translational research training, have the potential to become independently funded, successful, and ethical clinical investigators.
The duration of the TL1 Predoctoral Program is one year. Predoctoral RFA
