Have you fallen behind on your dental cleaning visits? If so, you may be eligible to participate in a research study that aims to find out whether treatment of gum disease can improve thinking skills.

Get free dental cleanings for a year. Compensation also is provided.

To participate in the study, you must:                             

• Be 65 years of age or older
• Have inflamed gums (periodontitis)
• Have at least half of your own teeth
• Be able to attend research visits at the University of Maryland, Baltimore
