What the Welcome Way Means to Me: C. Daniel Mullins, PhD
March 11, 2020“The PATIENTS Program listens to the health-related concerns of the West Baltimore community, bridges between patients and researchers to collaboratively investigate solutions, and then delivers those solutions back to the community. As part of our commitment to continuous engagement, the PATIENTS Program spends time in West Baltimore neighborhoods. We join the UMB Community Engagement Center (CEC) in inviting our West Baltimore neighbors to spend time with us at the CEC and during our community-related events, such as PATIENTS Day. Purchasing a paver was our way of helping to pave the bidirectional path between the West Baltimore and UMB communities.”
— C. Daniel Mullins, PhD, professor and chair, Department of
Pharmaceutical Health Services Research, School of Pharmacy
When complete, the UMB CEC’s Welcome Way will serve as a permanent greeting to those who visit and benefit from the CEC each day.
Bricks and pavers are still available for purchase!
