Are you looking to gain leadership experience? Consider becoming a mentor for UMB's YouthWorks Summer Program!
Now through May 21, we are looking for dedicated UMB volunteers to mentor Baltimore City students, ages 16 to 21, who are interested in gaining work experience.
As a mentor, you will be asked to:
- Provide ongoing support and encouragement for students
- Help students explore their career interests
- Arrange a day for their student to shadow themselves or a colleague
- Participate in a minimum of three (3) group activities
- Contact their students weekly throughout the duration of the program
Interested participants should complete the registration form by Friday, May 15.
The 2020 summer program session will begin on June 29 and end on July 31. Mentors should plan to attend our opening and closing ceremonies on the dates mentioned above.
