Students receiving their short white coats during last year’s virtual ceremony

The short white coat signifies a student’s journey into medical training as they learn, practice, and provide quality care and access to care to many communities throughout Maryland.

Help us support physician assistant (PA) students by sponsoring a student’s short white coat, which signifies his or her journey into their medical training as they learn, practice, and provide both quality care and access to care to many populations and communities throughout Maryland.

With a donation of $50 or more, you will sponsor a short white coat for a student, as well as make a tax-deductible gift to the simulation lab.

The Short White Coat Ceremony for students will be held later this semester. With your gift, you will have the opportunity to write a note of advice and well wishes to a student. These notes will be shared with our short white coat recipients on the day of the ceremony. Your participation now will inspire future PA graduates to carry on this tradition for generations to come.
