The Baltimore Sun has included the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law Dean Renée McDonald Hutchins on its 25 Women to Watch 2022: Best in advocacy, business, and health list. The publication calls the honorees “the Baltimore area’s leading voices in business, activism, research and more.”

Women on the list are featured in a special magazine supplement in The Sun’s Oct. 23 edition and were celebrated at the Baltimore Museum of Art on Oct. 19.

In Hutchins’ interview with The Sun, she focused on her role as a community builder at Maryland Carey Law. “Community,” she said, “is the bedrock to all the other work we do.”
