Tucker Arvin, a University of Maryland School of Nursing student, received his booster vaccine as a way to help bring an end to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I’m doing what I need to do as a citizen. We are trying to make this thing better. We are trying to make COVID go away,” he said.

With new COVID-19 variants and the need for business to resume to normal, vaccine and infectious disease experts say that getting a booster shot is the best way to prevent spread and serious illness.
