CVD collaborates with Project Search

CVD has partnered with Project SEARCH, a groundbreaking workforce and career development program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

As the Center for Vaccine Development and Global Health (CVD) reflects on its many accomplishments of 2024, CVD is especially proud to highlight its new collaboration with Project SEARCH, a groundbreaking workforce and career development program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This initiative exemplifies the CVD’s commitment to inclusivity and innovation, not just in global health, but also in our workplace practices.

By participating in this program, CVD also hopes to inspire greater inclusivity across the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

CVD is grateful to Fleesie Hubbard, MS, international regulatory affairs specialist at CVD, whose efforts made this collaboration possible.

CVD is excited about the opportunities this opens for future interns and anticipates expanding this work with a collaboration with YouthWorks next year.
