Adobe will be ending Creative Cloud Synced file services for users of Creative Cloud for Teams and Enterprise plans.

In the upcoming weeks, Adobe will begin the process of discontinuing Creative Cloud Synced files under the Creative Cloud for Teams and Creative Cloud for Enterprise plans. If you don't use Creative Cloud Synced files, this change will not affect you. However, if you do here’s how you might be impacted:

Starting Feb. 1, 2024, users will no longer be able to share files or folders from Creative Cloud Synced files with new users outside of UMB. Sharing will continue to work within UMB until Oct. 1, 2024.

Starting Oct. 1, 2024, users will no longer be able to sync or share files and all cloud-based copies of files will be permanently removed. Anything previously shared from Creative Cloud Synced files will no longer be accessible to others both inside and outside of UMB. Files saved to the local Creative Cloud Files folder will remain.

In anticipation of this change, we recommend that you begin the process of migrating Adobe cloud files to either your OneDrive or a SharePoint document library to ensure they are safely backed up and assets are not lost in this process.
