The University of Maryland School of Social Work (UMSSW) and the School of Pharmacy (UMSOP) have joined forces to offer a groundbreaking opportunity for social work students. This innovative partnership provides social work students with a unique educational opportunity to pursue their Master of Social Work (MSW) while earning a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics. This joint program equips future social workers with specialized knowledge of social work practice and medical cannabis therapeutics, preparing them for emerging challenges in healthcare and social services.
