Nadine Finigan-Carr, PhD, MS, has been named one of Maryland's Top 100 Women for 2025 by The Daily Record. This prestigious recognition honors outstanding achievements in professional accomplishments, community leadership, and mentoring.
As the executive director of the University of Maryland, Baltimore's Center for Violence Prevention and a faculty member in Research and Development at the School of Social Work, Finingan-Carr's dedication to addressing critical social issues has made a profound impact. Her work in violence prevention and community engagement is truly inspiring.
Finigan-Carr will be celebrated along with other honorees at the 30th anniversary reception and awards celebration on May 5 at Towson University Arena. The event includes a VIP reception at 4 p.m., followed by a general networking reception at 4:30 p.m., and concludes with the awards celebration and a seated dinner at 5:30 p.m.
