Why did you join the Council for Arts & Culture?
It was recommended by a colleague since I have a background in the arts.
What is your favorite type of art or artistic medium?
Cinematography and photography
How do you believe the arts contribute to the community?
It inspires others to express themselves and offers cultural understanding.
Outside of your work on the arts council, what’s something people might not know about you?
I am a freelance cinematographer/filmmaker. I also like psychology.
Who are some of your personal artistic influences or role models?
Role models: Denzel Washington and Prince
What do you hope people take away from their experiences with the arts?
To always use the gift you have to help others.
What is a piece of advice you would give to someone looking to get more involved in the arts?
Art is a tool and a medium. Make sure what you create can inspire and bring others together.
