Paris Barnes of the School of Pharmacy says the program provided her with the tools to grow and overcome a challenge many women face at some point in their careers.
"Transitioning to UMB for my career was a huge leap of faith, and I wrestled with the idea that I did not belong here. I joined the UMBrella Coaching Program not only to gain mentorship but also to understand why I felt this way.
"The program helped me tackle my imposter syndrome head-on, providing me with the tools to grow and overcome a challenge many women face at some point in their careers. My coaching group offered a safe space for me to learn, grow, and be supported by other women who believed in me and the power of women helping each other."
