As the nation’s largest workforce, nurses have the power to determine purpose, take action, and make an incredible impact on health and health care. We are pleased to offer a full week of activities and initiatives for all UMSON community members and UMMC nurses, in person, online, and on social media, in celebration of Nurses Week.

Show Your UMSON Spirit on Wednesday, May 6!
Whether it's a T-shirt, hat, pin, or anything else, on this day we encourage you to sport your UMSON or University of Maryland, Baltimore swag. If you don't have anything UMSON or UMB specific, wear the color red! Take a pic of you, your friends, and/or your colleagues showing off your spirit, and tag us on Instagram or X @marylandnursing or include our hashtag #UMSON.
