The Fresh Produce Giveaway reached more than 90 students across campus, helping to reduce food insecurity and strengthen UMB support systems.

The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) Student Pantry recently hosted a Fresh Produce Giveaway, reaching more than 90 students across campus. The event provided a variety of fresh food options to help support students and promote food access within the University community.

To make the distribution process smoother and more efficient, pantry staff and volunteers pre-packed the produce before the event. This preparation allowed students to move through the line quickly while ensuring everyone received a balanced selection of items.

The Fresh Produce Giveaway continues to be an important resource for students, helping to reduce food insecurity and strengthen campus support systems. Through ongoing efforts like this, the UMB Student Pantry remains committed to serving students and meeting their basic needs.
