For the second year in a row, UMSON has won the Health Professions Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award from INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine.
The HEED Award recognizes colleges and universities that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion.
UMSON was among 43 institutions recognized with the HEED Award, and all are featured in the December 2019 issue of INSIGHT Into Diversity, the oldest and largest diversity publication in higher education.
