Explore UMB’s History from the Comfort of Your Home
April 20, 2020 Tara WinkThe Health Sciences and Human Services Library is closed, but you can still explore the treasures held there and learn more about UMB’s long history.
Thousands of items from historical collections are available online through the Health Sciences and Human Services Library’s (HS/HSL) Digital Archive, which also serves as the repository for curated campus research and academic work.
Perhaps you have ancestors who graduated from UMB? Find them through our Alumni Directory; then check out the digital archive to see if we have their photo in a yearbook or perhaps their thesis?
Maybe you would like to learn more about the history of our campus? Or perhaps you want to learn more about the history of your school? Each of the six schools (Graduate, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Social Work) supported by the HS/HSL are represented in the digital archive with collections of histories of the school, academic catalogs, research, and newsletter. The time is now to explore UMB’s vast history from the comfort of your own home.
Most recent additions to the Digital Archive:
