The Health Sciences and Human Services Library leads the way to make this important new resource available.

The Center for Data and Bioinformation Services (CDABS) at the Health Sciences and Human Services Library is excited to announce that the University of Maryland, Baltimore has recently signed a data use agreement with the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), making the National COVID Cohort Collaborative (N3C) Data Enclave available to UMB researchers.

N3C is an innovative new analytics platform containing clinical data from the electronic health records of people who were tested for the novel coronavirus or who had related symptoms. This data resource will help scientists further understand the disease, including potential risk factors, protective factors, and long-term health consequences. The N3C Data Enclave was launched by NCATS and the National Center for Data to Health, in partnership with experts from Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics, PCORnet, the Accrual to Clinical Trials network, and TriNetX.

For more information about gaining access to this valuable new resource, please see the full CDABS announcement.
